A table full of food is better when there’s a table full of people.

Lunch and dinner daily. Kare-kare and sisig ihaw are back from the old menu, next to new dishes like kansi. Walang nagmamadali.

On the ground floor, for birthdays, despedidas and reunions: the long-table kind of gathering. We’re still finishing the space, but it’s open for bookings.

A garden restaurant made for lingering.

Balai Yllana began in 2015 with a few tables in the garden of a house on Gloria Diaz, on the corner of Monina Yllana Street. The house has been renovated since, and the Balai reopened in September 2026. Come for lunch, and stay for another pitcher of iced tea.
